WARNER’S DRIVE-IN has been a staple of the community since opening in 1952. However, the movie industry’s conversion to digital film forced the establishment to close at the end of the season in 2014.
Two years later, it is being opened as a non-profit group called The Warner-Drive-In Cultural and Resource Center, Inc. (WDI). Fundraising effort are currently underway to restore the drive-in to its former glory.
Just a few months into fundraising efforts, the board was able to raise enough money to purchase a new projector and open for a short season in the fall of 2016.
