Community Meeting
Mark your calendars for a community wide meeting on Tuesday, October 23 at 6pm at the Community Building in Franklin. The Chamber of Commerce is hosting a community meeting/forum with various organizations in Pendleton County to share their 2018 successes/challenges and their plans for 2019. Each organization will have 5 minutes or less to speak. We will also allow questions at the end from our community members.

The Gobbler – 2 Miler
Earn your turkey & pumpkin pie! This family event, the Inaugural Gobbler - 2 Miler, will be held Thanksgiving morning (Thurs., 11/22) at 8am beginning at Pendleton County High School. $10 fee to be paid the morning of the race. Forest Explorers Summer Camp
Introducing a new summer camp option for younger kids aged 8-11. These 4-5 day programs are the perfect introduction to Mountain Stewards Summer Camps. Kids will learn about themselves and the world around them through a combination of nights in the dorms and camping in the National Forest, we will explore streams, beaver ponds, swimming holes, and off-trail navigation.
